- Shaving the donor area much simplifies the process (in most cases, donor area is shaved), but he extraction can also be carried out with long hair (FUE LONG HAIR).
- Punch: the highly modern HyRO device features an extra-fine (0.8-0.9mm) needle (its tip is not sharp, but shaped like a "trumpet" ; it does not rotate completely around its own axis, but oscillates, or shakes, in a semi-circular motion). The use of HyRO minimises the risk of damage to hair root units during removal.
- The grafts are immediately implanted after their extraction – as a rule, without intermediate step.
- Up to 2,500 FUs (follicular units) approx. 5 to 8 hours, or in larger cases 2 days, because extraction proceeds slowly.

- A transplant session takes approx. 3 to 7 hours, up to 4,500 FUs (follicular units).
