MEDICAL TREATMENTS : PRP ( Platelet Rich Plasma) :
- Results : PRP injections can stimulate hair regrowth
- Indications : to fight hair loss, especially when hair transplant surgery is not an option ; to help accelerate grafts regrowth after a hair transplant.
- Procedure : it will take approximately 30 minutes from the time your blood is drawn until the PRP is injected into your scalp.
- Frequency : one session every 4 to 6 weeks, three sessions to begin.
HAIR TRANSPLANT TECHNIQUES :
FUE (Follicular Unit extraction) : main steps :
- Preparation : shaving of hair in the donor area, and local anesthesia
- Extraction : each graft is isolated with a punch, then extracted using a micro tweezer.
- Sorting of grafts : under a high-powered stereo microscope, by specially trained technicians
- Creation of recipient sites : micro incisions which follow the direction and angle of natural hair (it is the most artistic part of the procedure).
- Placement of grafts into the incisions : typically, the 1-2 hair follicular units are placed toward the front, while the 3-4 hair follicular units are placed towards the back and on the top of the head for more density. This helps to create a natural look.
UNSHAVEN FUE : extraction of long hair, only suitable for a small number of grafts.
FUT (STRIP) :
- It requires expertise to remove the skin strip without transecting follicles at the wound edges, and to close the wound in a way that causes minimal scarring.
- Easier than FUE for afro hair transplant

Body / Facial Hair Transplant : FUE technique
- For patients who have a very weak donor area, have undergone repeated hair transplants, or have some different kind of alopecia.
- We can use the hair from Beard, Shoulders, Abdomen, Legs, Arms, Underarm or Pubic area
- Beard hair is most suitable as it matches exactly with the scalp hair
Beard :
- Hair transplant to the beardless and mustache-free areas, one by one, using the FUE method.
- As the channels opened in the beard and mustache cultivation are more sloping, the angle and orientation should be well adjusted.
Eyebrows :
- Hair transplant to correct or restore a brow
- Transplanted hair will need frequent trimming as it will continue to grow
OPTIONS FOR WOMEN :
Treatments : for diffuse female hair loss, or in case of donor area insufficient to perform a transplant
- Rogaine (Minoxidil), at 2%, can also be used to reduce the risk of "shock loss" after hair transplantation.
- Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), option for fighting hair loss when other treatments have failed, additional therapy after a hair transplant.
- Scalp Micro-Pigmentation (SMP) darkens the thinning areas of the scalp and helps create the appearance of hair by minimizing the contrast between the hair color and skin tone.
- Cosmetics such as Toppik and DerMatch can temporarily reduce the color contrasts between hair and skin, as well as minimize the appearance of balding.
- Coloring the hair of patients closer to their skin tone can achieve the same goal through the same mechanism.
