Turkey stands out as a global leader in affordable hair transplants—where the Ministry of Health is facing the challenge of imposing standards to a huge number of clinics involved in medical tourism. Recently it decided to create a mandatory hair transplant training and diploma for doctors, a rule which will soon apply also to FUE technicians. However, international patients still have to be cautious when selecting a clinic in Turkey, in order to avoid "hair transplant mills" which may damage their donor area and produce bad results. Our purpose is to concentrate on "boutique" clinics, which handle a small number of patients everyday, ensuring health safety and bringing advanced technology, highly skilled surgeons, and natural, lasting results.
