DIAGNOSIS

• The hair consultation allows us to determine the cause of excessive hair loss (androgenetic alopecia, anagen effluvium, telogen, localized alopecia, diffuse alopecia) and therefore guides the treatment.

Preparation : 

Different types of shaving are possible:

• Complete shaving of the donor and recipient area.

• Navy style: full shave of the donor area only.

• Shaving one or two areas in a line, which will then be covered by the longer hair located higher up. This technique mainly concerns women.

Extraction  : motorized punches (hollow and circular handpiece) from 0.8mm to 1mm in diameter. Grafts of 1 to 5 hairs.

Implantation : At the HAROJ center, Doctors Feutren and Pétin have chosen to use only the "choï" implanter pen, limiting graft handling. Implantation is performed in one step, the pen creates space and places the graft in a single gesture.
